with summer unofficially coming to a close last weekend, i'm struck with that pang of heart sickness with which every ending inevitably fills me. this season seemed to fly by particularly quickly which makes my nostalgia for rooftop cocktails and tan lines extra painful. and while fall always provides a welcomed proverbial blank slate and the promise of farmers market bounties and cashmere sweaters, i still relinquish summer reluctantly. so please indulge my sentimentality while i revisit a few of my favorite summer snapshots
